The current events we face in 2020 has made the year a rollercoaster. Among those tough events, the world has suffered the loss of NBA legend, Kobe Bryant. Kobe and his daughter, Gianna Bryant lost their lives in a helicopter crash on January 26th. Since their passing fans have been supporting and uplifting the Bryant family.
Fans have since then watched Vanessa Bryant, widow of Kobe Bryant speak to over 19,000 attendees at the memorial held for the NBA player at the Staples Center and constantly show her strength throughout this tough time. Recently, Vanessa has shared her decision to block all Kobe Bryant fan pages to help her heal.
“Thx so much for all the [love],” Vanesa wrote on her Instagram story with a purple heart. “@nataliabryant and I have unfortunately had to block fan pages because it’s been really hard to go online and constantly see pics of our beloved Gigi and Kobe under every single square of our explore pages. Blocking the fan pages has helped change the algorithm. We [love] you all but please understand that we had to do this for our own healing not because we don’t appreciate your [love].”
Vanessa has been transparent with fans about how she and her family have been coping with the loss of the NBA legend and their daughter. A week ago, Vanessa has posted the tattoos that she got to honor her loved ones, which are messages that they once shared with her. Her husband’s message is inked on her neck and Giana’s message is inked on her wrist.
Our love and prayers are still with the Bryant family as they go through this tough time.
